In 2023, the Douro, a region made up of 19 municipalities, was elected European City of Wine. The recognition and success achieved demonstrates the continued commitment to tourism promotion. It has thus become a European benchmark for culture, wine and vineyards and for the harmonious celebration of nature and the centuries-old work carried out by generations of Douro people. We are taking another step towards promoting the territory.<\/p>\n
