Description
It is in the parish of Fonte Arcada that you can visit the Chapel of Nossa Senhora Da Saúde. Located on the viewpoint, from where you can see the river Távora and the whole village of Fonte Arcada, the shrine is set in an area made up of a fairground, picnic area and bandstand. To get there, you have to climb up a stony path where, on festival days, oxen pull carts armed with floats. The cult of Senhora da Saúde is still a landmark for the village and the second largest in the municipality.
