Description
The Chapel of Senhora da Azinheira is built on the top of the mountain with the same name, surrounding a belvedere that offers one of the most beautiful Miradouro of the "Marvelous Kingdom". This place is also associated with Miguel Torga's short story "Natal". The Baroque-style church boasts a magnificent trompe l'oeil ceiling in the nave and gilded altarpieces in the national style.
