Description
The Church of São Miguel Arcanjo is located in the village of Freixinho, on the banks of the Vilar Dam.
The church dates from the 16th century and consists of two interior chapels: Nossa Senhora da Conceição and São José. We can also see the bell tower on the left-hand side of the church. The building was listed as a World Heritage Site in 1938.
