Description
The town of Mós is dotted with three chapels, the most important of which is dedicated to Santa Bárbara. It has an impressive panoramic view over the Douro, which you can see to a greater extent than from the viewpoints of N.ª S.ª do Viso and S. Martinho de Seixas. The view over the region, with its almond trees, vineyards and some olive groves, is extremely beautiful, especially during the almond blossom season. In addition to the River Douro, from here you can see the viewpoints of N.ª Sr.ª do Viso and St.º Martinho de Seixas, as well as the towns of Açoreira and Sequeiros (Moncorvo) and Monte Meão, all of which are surrounded by the river.
