Piscina da Praia Fluvial da Granja do Tedo

The unspoiled village of Granja do Tedo lies in a deep valley where the River Tedo runs through it. In order to benefit from the river's waters, a river beach has been built that allows people to cool off in the summer and also enables the locals to water their land. As an alternative to the river's dry periods, a swimming pool was built in the area, in an attempt to compensate all those who were already in the habit of going there. These two enclosures are part of a historic garden, a green space where there are tile panels describing the region's legend of the Moorish Princess Ardínia and the Christian knight D. Tedon, with a picnic area, barbecues and a bar. As well as family activities and entertainment, there is also the chance to exercise, for example on one of the walking routes. The site is considered the heart of the village and is the ideal place to relax, enjoy the natural landscape and spend quality time.
