Description
The River Beach of Fornelos is an idyllic and pleasant place, next to the clear waters of the Aguilhão River, which flows next to the Union of Parishes of Louredo and Fornelos. The river beach has users from all over the country, in addition to the penaguienses countrymen, who have already surrendered to its refreshing waters. The Fornelos River Beach was inaugurated by the Mayor of Santa Marta de Penaguião on July 12, 1998. It is a beautiful leisure space, of pleasant freshness, with a weir in the river that serves as a natural pool. In the surrounding area (and fenced) a grassy part for sunbathing, with support structures: bathrooms, toilets and a bar.
