Description
Quinta da Moita, in the municipality of Tabuaço, is on the Route of the Romanesque. Built in the mid-19th century, the Quinta, inspired by the surrounding nature and its rurality, opened the Agrotourism unit in 2022.
It consists of the Mother House, Casa da Laranjeira and Casa da Azenha. The traditional granite construction was remodelled in 2021 with organic materials such as wood and corten steel, evoking the constant transformation of nature.
It was originally a tobacco plantation farm, currently the farm, all in organic production mode, produces wine, honey and olive oil. It is arranged in terraces, with a diversity of fruit trees and wild flowers, where sheep graze and birds sing.
