Description
Quinta dos Padres Santos is what remains of a Douro property owned by a couple who, by giving bread to the poor, became the Holy Fathers at the end of the 19th century, in the domains of the Cistercian Order in Portugal.
Every day with the flour they produced in the two water mills of the Quinta, they made bread in the two wood ovens, which they then distributed to the poor of the region.
Quinta dos Padres Santos AG & Spa is an agro-tourism development that combines agriculture, in its 3 hectares of orchard, with the ethnographic heritage, recovered and adapted to the comfort of today, with the 2 water mills and the farmhouses. It also has a SPA space, outdoor pool, event room and the "Lina's Kitchen".
