UNIQUE FLAVORS OF THE DOURO IN LAMEGO Contemporary cuisine in exceptional surroundings In the heart of the historic center, close to the Cathedral, the Museum and the Ribeiro Conceição Theatre, Vindouro is the latest restaurant project in Lamego - Cultural City of the Douro. It offers contemporary regional cuisine with a Mediterranean base, inspired by traditional Douro recipes. The result is a mixture of aromas, flavors and textures that appeals to the senses. Located in Portugal's richest wine-growing region and one of the noblest in the world, Vindouro's menu focuses on wines from the Douro and the Távora and Varosa sub-region, with the option of serving them by the glass and buying the references available in the restaurant's Wine Boutique. The private room, with a smoking area and capacity for 16 people, was designed for group events, and the decoration features a panel with an image of the magnificent stage of the Conceição Ribeiro Theatre. From an undulating corridor, simulating the elegant curves of the river and the sharp relief of the terraces, to the recreation of vines and olive trees, framed in a schist wall, a reference to the walls that populate the steep slopes, the pleasures of fine dining are enveloped in this exceptional setting, where the architecture reflects the richness and uniqueness of the surrounding landscape.
