Zona Ribeirinha de Mondim da Beira

At the heart of the parish of Mondim da Beira is the Mondim da Beira Riverside Area, a place of conviviality and reference in the municipality, strategically sheltered by the Romanesque Bridge, an imposing monument located on the centuries-old medieval road that connected the parish to S. João de Tarouca. This space, steeped in history and set in a verdant area, where windmills along the river banks predominate, is frequented by hundreds of people who, in hot weather, seek pleasant moments in the refreshing waters of the River Varosa and in the small restaurant area attached to the Zona Ribeirinha.
