Description
Right next to the Fortified Bridge and Tower of Ucanha is the River Beach, surrounded by a green space where the municipality's ex libris stands out: the elderberry, the region's characteristic shrub and the main source of income for many farmers, as its berries have countless applications, from the pharmaceutical industry to dyeing, traditional medicine and confectionery, which predominates throughout the valley.
Known for its transparent waters that allow a glimpse of the famous Varosa trout, which shyly hide among the stones polished by the force of the current, the Ucanha riverside area is a point of interest and conviviality during the summer.
