Estação Náutica De Alijó

The municipality of Alijó has unique conditions for the development of various sports practiced on the water that complement nature sports. The four rivers that border the municipality - the Douro, the Tua, the Tinhela and the Pinhão - constitute a potential of extraordinary importance for the nautical tourism sector. With this in mind, the Alijó Nautical Station was created with the aim of providing a greater opportunity to enhance the territory and its tourist agents, in short, to boost the tourism sector in the municipality. The Alijó Nautical Station is a network of quality tourist offers, organized on the basis of the integrated use of the water resources present in the area, which includes accommodation, restaurants, culture, sport, nautical sports and leisure activities, as well as other activities and services relevant to attracting tourists and other users, encompassing a range of diversified and integrated experiences.
