Description
The parish church, with its fine stonework of the region's yellow granite, was built in the 17th century by the University. The chancel has a panelled ceiling with beautiful coffered paintings and a high altar with carvings in the Renaissance style.
The side altars have carvings similar to those of the Blessed Sacrament. Today, the church is considered a building of public interest and is dedicated to St. Stephen.
