Description
The very simple pillory stands on a platform of three circular steps, with the first floor almost completely embedded in the ground. The column fits directly into the top step, rising on a smooth cylindrical shaft, topped by a small ring.
The top is made up of a pine cone with a quadrangular base and slightly tapered edges, the top of which tapers into a truncated cone with concave sides. The simplicity of the whole does not allow it to be precisely dated, although it is likely that it was built following the Manueline charter, retaining a medieval appearance.
