Description
One of Europe's least polluted waterways, the River Paiva, near Segões, the furthest village in the municipality (but with good access), we find the municipality's second river beach. In the wide green area bordering the river banks, the space offers a picnic area under dense shade, a bar (with a terrace) and toilets.
A special mention should be made of Paiva's calm and pure waters, whose slightly darker color is due to the presence of mineral salts that make them popular for skin diseases. There is also a diverse and extraordinary biodiversity here, both aquatic and terrestrial.
