Description
The manor house of A-de- Barros or Solar dos Noronhas is located in the village of A-de-Barros, in the parish of Penso. The manor house dates back to the 17th century and is said to symbolize the ancient alliance between royalty and the people. Inside you can still find two wine presses and a chapel.
The manor is also known as Casa de D. Dinis, as it was identified as the house where the king stayed overnight on his way from Trancoso to Lamego, around 1310.
