“Terra do Ferro” Tournament

Description
The Municipality of Torre de Moncorvo promotes the 5th edition of the “Terra do Ferro” Football Tournament on 31 May, 13 and 14 June, at the Dr. Camilo Sobrinho field in Torre de Moncorvo.
The tournament will be played in 5-a-side football for the Petizes (U7) and Traquinas (U9) categories on 31 May. On 13 June, it will be played in 7-a-side football for Benjamins (U11), and on 14 June for Infantis (U13).
Several clubs from the districts of Bragança and Vila Real are already confirmed. Highlights include, in the U7 and U9 categories, a team from Sporting Clube de Braga (Elite Centre of Vila Real), in U9 a team from Sporting Clube de Portugal, in U11, for the second consecutive year, a team from Lumbrales (Spain) and AD Lustosa, and in U13 the participation of FC Avintes.
This event brings together young athletes from various districts across the country, marking the end of the sports season of the Municipal Football School and giving young players from different places the opportunity to meet “on the field”.
